The short version
polished.cv started as a side project in early 2026. One of our founders had just watched a friend — an incredibly talented engineer — get rejected from 40+ applications without a single interview. The resume was the bottleneck. Not skills. Not experience. Formatting, keyword gaps, and a summary that read like it was written in 2019.
